Policy Planning Division establishes industrial and business nurturing policies, builds regional industrial databases, and formulates science and technology policies to establish a stable industrial ecosystem through nurturing of local strategic industries and technology innovation-oriented businesses. Additionally, it formulates mid- to long-term development plans to pursue management innovation for the continuous development of the Ulsan Technopark.

Industrial Policy Planning
Analyze changes in the growth of local strategic industries in response to global environmental changes and government and major agency policies to identify new growth engine industries and related new policies for sustainable growth in the region.
Business Nurturing Policy Planning
Develop tailored business nurturing strategies based on the needs of local experts and companies, present directions for technology development and business start-ups suitable for the characteristics of the Ulsan region, and achieve optimal results t hrough efficient resource allocation.
Industrial Database Building
Enhance the effectiveness of central government-local government regional policy development, including regional industrial promotion plans, by building and analyzing economic, industrial, business, project, and performance data and strengthening the f unction of establishing preemptive response strategies for domestic and international environmental changes.
Analysis of Regional Industrial Performance
Develop region-specific policies by analyzing trends and performance in support programs conducted by the government and l ocal region, and discover outstanding growth cases for local businesses.
Business Start-Up Support and Cooperation Network Operation

Future Car Part Development Support
Supporting the evaluation of future car parts through research equipment such as the RE-EV (Range-Extended Electric Vehicle) Electronic Parts Efficiency Evaluation System, E-Motor Emulator, RE-EV Chassis Dyno, and Battery Charging and Discharging Equipment for future car part development testing and evaluation.
Automotive Collision Test Support
Operating the only comprehensive safety test center in Korea that supports car collision safety testing, including vehicle and component crash tests, impact (SLED) tests, and pedestrian protection tests.

Providing support for reliability testing such as durability tests, vibration tests, noise and vibration analysis, environmental testing, and material analysis, which are necessary in the development of automotive parts.
